LOL, considering the last hike has not even worked its way through the system yet and we've already had a drastic slowdown, these guys obviously don't know what the hell they're doing (the last rate hike was proof). They liken the Fed's easings and tightenings to pumping the accelerator or putting on the brakes on a car, but to extend the metaphor, the car's speedometer has a 14-month time lag and they're driving in the dark without headlights. Short term it should help the market and send the shorts running for cover. The political transition underway now makes this meeting especially intriguing.
