Andy Neff's remarks on CNBS this morning were the "mealey mouthiest" I have ever heard. He stated nothing concretely wrong with SUNW, just his conjecture that since the PC sector slowed down for the business community that the enterprise buying will slow down too. Does anybody out there have a citation of any other company stating the opposite?

I will check myself this morning.

Sun and EMC downgraded

By Tiffany Kary ZDII
December 15, 2000

Sun Microsystems (Nasdaq: SUNW) and EMC (NYSE:
EMC) are being punished for the bad performance of
their peers.
Bear Stearns lowered its ratings on both
stocks Friday citing "concerns about spreading
economic weakness," though the companies
themselves haven't indicated any trouble ahead.

Dear Charles, Is it true that Scott Executives haven't warned about a shortfall in earnings?
