The shares that alsc own are taiwanese (2303)and singapore
(csmf) shares. They could be sold in the us (adr).

I think the adr carry more premium.

Merrill on Semis : Firm says the collapse in DRAM pricing since the end of August has investors assuming the worst with concerns that the DRAM business may be on the verge of a multi-year slowdown similar to the 1996-1998 meltdown; however firm sees a more upbeat scenario based on their assessment of capital spending and available supply and purchasing patterns in 2001; reiterates intermediate-term buy recommendations on Micron, Samsung Electronics and Infineon.
