OT: (the thread is pretty empty anyway) Not a question of one factor like how questions, nor negations are made, it is just practical to have that too built into the language. Finnish (and the few closer relatives) as well as Japanese (and its few closer relatives) are considered "isolated islands" in terms of language roots but one possibilty is that they have a common ancestor from the time before the japanese language got to the japanese islands.
