It was my impression that the zinc-air batteries are more expensive but last 2+ times longer than a charged battery. It seems like a small middle market - casual users will use rechareables, real heavy users will need to carry extra batteries anyways so they might as well carry any extra rechargeable. You're left with a (small?) middle user that wants a little more conveneince and where money is no object.
I think they need to get a AA/AAA size battery down to the price/performace at least near the current Energizers/Duracells to become something big.
Other than that, their original replacement batteries for electric buses is still years off.
I'm currently out of EFCX but would be a speculator again if they got to the below 3 again.
