As far as I know, Analog Devices is the leader in Direct Conversion technology. They signed up their first customer for the Othello chipset (GSM/GPRS) a couple of weeks ago....Siemens. Here is a press release about them working on a W-CDMA DC chipset with Mitsubishi.

No - QCOM announced sometime last year (or early this year) that it would have such technology ... SAWS collapsed that day, only to recover after dropping like, 40% or more ... I am not certain as to the date, but remember this happening.

I believe this has nothing to do with TXN ...
