yes...the ongoing real estate bubble, recently fueled by steeply falling agency paper yields...huge refinancing volumes, as stretched-to-the-limit consumers take on ever more debt on the (bubble) value of their homes...and the strong belief that Fannie and Freddie will not be allowed to fail. their leverage is btw. worse than LTCM's.
