Here is a good laugh from Investor Alert:
Talking about egos the size of Mt. Rushmore, William Shatner and Priceline are parting company, boo hoo hoo. The captain of the Enterprise -
whose singing and rapping ads had to be among the most annoying on TV for the last couple of years - is said to be miffed that he's got a loss on the stock, showing his profound knowledge of the capital markets. (His ignorance is totally incomprehensible to all the other toupee-wearing, tone-deaf elderly Jewish men in the world). PCLN, you see, is now trading near 2 bucks, after a March high of 105. His shares used to be worth over $20M, but now his stake is down to $200 thou. Apparently he submitted his own price for the stock, but it was about a hundred times higher than what the market decided. To add insult to injury, Shatner admitted that he never bought airline
tickets from priceline because THEY ONLY SELL COACH!. Once he went into orbit last week, the sigh of relief from Priceline's headquarters could be heard a hundred light years away.
