You r are right. Very wide spread problem. The one I used was sort of a plastic screen with lighting behind it when a selection was pushed. The screen was not actually a screen , but a soft plastic overlay. More or less a button type machine I suppose. Maybe I will ask were they got them. I know it was only purchased a couple years ago. Not sure.
