Bob,

IMHO, I do not believe that even the FED will be able to stop the cleansing (capitulation) phase that we are about to experience. Unless they act uncharacteristically tomorrow by lowering by 50 pts or more I think the market will just sell on the news. Before we can see any meaningful rally we are going to have to see panic driving investors emotions. I don't believe we've seen that yet. Let me also say that my main reason for believing so is still the overall chart conditions for charts representing the NAZ. The price action today in stocks like SUNW, ARBA, PMCS, and CSCO are telling me that the bottom is not here yet. I think the thing to watch for will be how this market decides to wash many out of their positions. The more violent the move the more likely we are to bottom sooner than later.

Once again time will tell.

Good luck trading.
