Thanks Duncan, and don't forget--the F840 is the high end of the product set now, replacing the F760, but the F840 is the midrange of an emerging product line. We will see an F860 some time after the low end F8xx deliveries, I believe.

BTW, the low-end game from NTAP will be devastating to their low end competitors and change the rules on their high end competitors. The DAFS/VI WAFL commodity PC-hardware-based low end will serve the role of fulfilling the "edge" of the content management fabric at great margins (60%) and low prices ($15K). This is pure speculation on my part, but I see no alternative to their strategy as it unfolds. Once DAFS/VI software/hardware is deliverable on the ONTAP software platform, a PC-based low-end is a no-brainer for NTAP and can be done with great margins because of the software content on commodity hardware.

Good to hear DW beating his chest about the effect of EMC's latest NAS offering. He has great credibilty with me. Tom Mendoza would have less credibility at this time, as he is the salesman's salesman and loves to lead the cheer. DW is more conservative in his utterances.
