Well you can bet I will miss THE BOTTOM because I will not try to catch it but you will be sorely wrong to believe that I will not be in when the market is ready. Those first and last 1/8's are the most expensive you will ever own.

You forgot to include me.

But you're wrong, neither of us "want" the economy to go into a severe depression.

I don't invest in "wants", I invest in "truths", in other words, what's going to happen which is totally out of my control. I'm just playing the hand that was dealt to me, not what I want to happen, otherwise I'd be long.
