Its A Delicate Balance Today

The only possibility for a rate cut tomorrow is if the market ends the day really sick.

But if it rallys based on the expectation of a rate cut it won't look sick, and there won't be a rate cut.

So they can expect a rate cut and not get one, or not expect it and maybe get one.

I think they close it near, but not below Friday's lows. Open flat tomorrow and stretch until they think people will believe that the Fed has decided to cut rates, (but not announced yet) and then jam the futures big time.

I doubt it will be enough for a rate cut though. If they really want a rate cut they have to put in new lows, which they are very reluctant to do.
