Paul, You're right the FED can stop it (eventually). My point is that they won't stop it until we go through this necessary phase (the FED just like the analyst's downgrades will prove too late to the party). That is why I mentioned in my post that unless they act "uncharacteristically" tomorrow by dropping rates by 50 pts or greater we will sell on the news. I too believe it is going to take a multi-move by the FED to get a change in sentiment. By that time the damage will be done. I believe this whole phase of market euphoria to despair will carry prices to extremes in both directions. With stocks like CSCO and SUNW still showing signs of weakness we will get our answers much sooner than later. Good trading. SO
