I don't think vice president Bush wants a rate cut.

I think he wants a recession so he can:
1) blame recession on Clinton
2) more likely get his way on a tax cut
3) take credit for any up-turn in the economy by mid-term elections or maybe the next primaries.

With Cheney's help, VP Bush will play Greenie like a Strad.
