Re : OXY -

You may want to read about two weeks of the posts about OXY at Yahoo.

Seems some people (Wall Street, major institutions) are not thrilled with management...may explain low P/E

I own OXY, plus calls on OXY.
The stock's price seems to have problems rising.
Sky high California prices could be the catalyst that moves it.

I figure it will break ou at some point.

Precieve Management quality -

High end

EOG Resources
MND
APC - based on high multiple, good deal with UPR ?

Low end

BR missed 2Q targets- new CFO may improve things
UCL
OXY

Thanks so much, I wilkl study DNR. I had the great good fortune to listen to Rory Heiner about ROYL and doubled my money in a few days. I sold enough to get all my original stake back (and bought a very expensive painting for my wife's birthday; she liked it; cried).

I am still holding LEAPS on OXY.

OK off to check out DNR.

Oh yes, I am into the Lost Hills insanity too. PYR and BKP.TO

OK I checked out DNR, saw your point, and bought some. Since this is a NYSE stock it is likely to be noticed sooner than some of the fairly obscure Canadian gas drillers that I have been buying. I am holding this DNR in a cash account for long term gains.
