Clinton's fight for Free Trade is the major positive act of his administration.

Good point Bill. Id owes you one.
Truthfully, I don't think I fully appreciated the impact of this, and would like to hear more from you on how you think it changed things.

I've always given Clinton credit for the family leave bill, which I think he pushed thru during his first term. I think that one was a good one, although I don't think I'll personally benefit. The Clintons, and Robert Reich, have espoused the notion that we shouldn't be such a work-oriented society, to the extent that it hurts the "family unit". I think that's true, and acts like the family leave bill reinforce the importance of family.

Which is why other actions taken by certain prominent leaders and role models and "first citizens" were so notorious in the way they undermined the family unit.
