Interesting. I have not had an experience quite like that before. The closest was this famous play in San Francisco that I am sorry to say I cannot not remember the name of. It has been running for 25 years or something and people were a lot of big hats. You probably know it.

In any event, it was a very mixed group, but I never felt like I didn't belong.

I guess my question is, did you feel awkward because of internal or external reasons?

I mean I feel awkward when one of my buddies drags me to a hetro meat-market bar.

I think I have mentioned it here before, but the only time a gay made me uncomfortable was in college when a certain person had an unhealthy fixation on me. For the most part I have found gays to be very considerate people (ok there were two of the stereotypical lesbians who lived across from my dad's place, but I'd bet that other gays didn't even like them).
