Jim Handy was one of the few analysts to recognise the early promise of Rambus technology, while other analysts were predicting that the unstable and slow DDR would eclipse Rambus. Recent RDRAM success from Samsung Playstation etc and Microns recall of its DDR PCs due to instability are a testament to Dataquest's willingness to call it how they saw it, rather than how their sponsors wanted them to see it.
