RU-486 is opposed by anti-abortion people because "it kills a baby". I wonder what your take on that is since the moral dilemma I talked about goes to that too. And, a fetus requires more than "oxygen, food, water, warmth and physical protection" to develop into a person. Those can be found in a glass bottle.

In fact, I wish someone would figure out how to bring babies to term in glass bottles if necessary . . . some of these arguments would go away.

Anyway, good luck in your future endeavors.

Death penalty,
There is a stronger argument against the death penalty then simply the possibility of executing an innocent man. It is that the penalty will never be administered equitably; the poor, disabled and disenfranchised will suffer the penalty more frequently than the well-off and well-placed, irregardless of guilt or innocence, and this in turn brings justice into disrepute.

Of course, in any penal system the poor will suffer more than the rich.

On abortion, would you object to this scheme:
1. Unrestricted access in the first trimester.
2. A review and counseling in the second trimester.
3. Legal restrictions in the third trimester.
