This is just for "closure," of a topic which preoccupied the thread for a while.

Bush Wins Electoral College Majority
By ROBERT TANNER
Associated Press Writer

With unwavering support Monday from the electors who had pledged to vote for him, George W. Bush secured the Electoral College majority needed to become the 43rd president.

Nevada's four electors put the Texas governor over the top with a total of 271 votes, one more than the Constitution requires.

That closed the door on the remote possibility that a few "faithless electors'' who had pledged to vote for Bush might upset his victory by casting their ballots instead for Vice President Al Gore.

All that remains is for Congress to make the votes official on Jan. 6.

Hi Jim! I sold my MVK today. A return in excess of 20% in a day and change was too much to pass up with a company who looks to be ahead of its fundamentals.

Have you seen ROIL? This thing has jumped the last couple of days. I'm still holding and waiting for AGA's on this one.

You were the first to bring ROIL to my attention. Thank you sir!

An OT - I concur with Q's analyst from this AM. It's getting close to tech time!

Energy still has legs but tech will present us with the easy money going forward. Tech now is similar to oil at $12 and still has a little downside left. If we get a rate decrease today, tech's time will be here pronto.
