I thought the debates settled the "intelligence" question. But in any event, I think whether he governs from the middle or right of the middle will depend on large part on what help he gets from the Repub. Congressional leadership who are not especially noted for their political bravery. Of course I think it is sheer lunacy for the Repubs to even entertain a notion of "powersharing" now that there is Repub control of the WH, and repub majority in the Senate and House. A lot could be accomplished in the next two years. JLA
