From Briefing.com Solectron (SLR) 26.72 -1.32: -- Update -- Company expects Q2 sales of $5.4 to $5.7 bln and EPS of $0.29-0.30 (vs consensus of $0.28), before any one-time charges related to acquisitions. Solectron (SLR) 26.72 -1.32: Reports Q1 earnings of $0.31 a share (excluding charges), $0.03 better than the First Call consensus of $0.28, vs year-ago earnings of $0.17; revenues rose 100.9% to $5.70 bln from a year-ago of $2.83 bln; see press release. SLR is a contract manufacturer for both CSCO and JNPR.

Actually bambs.. I just got back from taking a friend to the hospital, it's not like I was hiding. As I mentioned before price moves like todays... and anyday when they move like this - bullish or bearish - is out of fear and greed typically with a layer of a lack of understanding. The question at hand is what changed today that supports a $40B cap reduction? Was it because CSCO increased the loss reserve to $275M??? Does an increase of $275M in loss reserve warrant a $40B cap reduction? Isn't $275M about 1/3 cent on earnings??? OG
