They were undervotes. Fact is they were NOT counted. "Undervote" is the definition given by Dems for those ballots for which the machine could pick up no vote. Was it a vote? Depended on one's power of imagination (or divination!) The better definition might have been "Needagorevote".

They were undervotes. Fact is they were NOT counted by the "precision machinery" (in James Baker's closed mind anyway). They were counted as NO VOTE. I know by the righties' standards that anyone who is not to the right of Jessie Helms is a "demolib." Well you can expect some noise from "demolibs" - that is anyone who doesn't worship W - but it won't be whining it will be LAUGHING. And, to an extent, CRYING too...the market will fall if there is a perception of stupidity in the White House...that STABILITY thing: Message 14734783 ...and it won't matter if you are a Rep. or a Dem...we'll ALL lose money I'm sure that Dubya will move decisively to mitigate the effects of the coming Clinton/Gore recession caused by among other things, the lack of a coherent energy policy.
