lead government to a balanced budget, maintain a good working relationship with AG.

I give him all the credit in the world for the latter (hopefully GW will learn from this)....but the former was a product of the Budget Comittee in the US House of Representative. Specifically, John Kasich began talking about a balanced budget long before anybody else was thinking along those lines. Clinton wasnt leading this....he went along for the ride.

But we just went through over a year of intense campaigning, the objective of which was for GW to make himself be known to us, to speak to us, to show us his works, and the record of his service. Can I not judge him from that?

I figured you or somebody would mention this.

The answer is, well, sure, but only superficially. Only to the extent that any of us would want to be judged based on appearances, accents, sound bytes, and the same speech given numbingly over and over and over.

Moreover, I think the campaign is a time when people are especially guarded about voicing their true thoughts as all the candidates try to appeal to the widest range of voters.

Actions speak louder than words. Let's see what he can do, after time passes, not before.

I think Babes has it right. She knows baseball, she's willing to wait and see prior to persecuting him; and the fact that she took the LSAT is something I'm willing to overlook, in the interest of seeking peace for all.

I am bewildered with those who have enjoyed eight very prosperous years and are unwilling to give Clinton any credit.

I voted for him. I'm willing to give him credit. Very little credit.
