Thinking out-loud here.
Two thing concern me in regards to if this is a bottom or not. Two simple things, but important non-the-less.
Seems like most bottoms in the market you will see lots of M&A activity and many companies will do share-buy-backs.
I have seen very little of either of those so far.
ADI has bought a couple of small companies and is buying back 15 million shares but they aren't that big of a player.
I would like to see CSCO,INTC,MSFT,ORCL,SUNW,BRCM just to name a few announce stock buy backs. This would be a great way to pay employees and is usually a win win for investors and the company.
Maybe you are right. We don't have capitulation yet.
