Peppe,

While I agree that it does seem incredulous that CSCO wouldn't warn while all the other big names appear to be doing so... wouldn't it be a huge buying opp if in fact CSCO's business was in fact solid yet they were getting sold with an expecatation that they simply must miss... because...well.... everyone else has? Further to this.. wouldn't Chambers be risking his very future as one of the greatest leaders of all time by suggesting that CSCO would hit their numbers this quarter and this year? Certainly he doesn't need to make such a bold statement as he has already proven himself - why would he now take such a controversial position unless he actually believed Cisco could make the numbers. Why would he risk the lawsuits that would likely come about as a result of his comments if indeed Cisco were to miss? And finally, a bit of perspective. $275M is nothing ... some have pointed to the increase over last year but Cisco has increased in size in all phases of the company so we should all expect this number to increase as well....

IMO this has been blown out of proportion... and as I have mentioned before... as the market overreacted to good news on the upside, so to has it overreacted to the downside. One thing is for certain though.. the momentum is clearly bearish and one should not fight the tape.
