Skeets, And the GDP deflator has to have something to deflate, so that screws up inflation calculations, too. In fact, your best buddy, Billy Clinton's administration, has taken the falsifying of govt. numbers to a new level. True, others did it before them, but none did it in as wholesale a fashion as the Clintonians. It doesn't matter if things are really good. It only matters if you can convince the great unwashed that things are really good. And they pretty much pulled it off, with a few grumblers amongst us sayin' "It ain't so, Joe." <g>
