Wagner won 7 batting titles in 11 years from 1900 to 1911,
won four RBI titles, hit .350 or better 5 times in the
first decade, as well as having the highest slugging
percentage 6 times in that same time period. And this
was the dead ball era. A much different world.

He was an outstanding defensive shortstop as well.

his 1906 baseball card -(T-206 I think)is the most valuable
in existence due to the fact that the card was issued by a tobacco company and he hated tobacco and had his cards
mostly recalled.

They have the card on display at Cooperstown NY along with
his spikes and jersey.
