Jessie has the hearts and minds of blacks over 30. I even remember his early career, when he still spoke English (where did it go?) and actually said inspirational things. The kids, IMO, are getting a very different view of the world. The media has been able to hide Justice Thomas, Prof. Sowell, and a few others from them, but it will be very difficult to keep Powell and Rice out of view, especially if there's an international crisis of some sort. Another good impression on the kids: Shaq got his degree from LSU over the weekend. Possibly a nice future in politics for this solid citizen in the next decade..
