Paullie, it is good to hear from you again. I may be the wrong person to ask about BBY and CC, since I seem to like them despite the downgrades. And as I've said before, I believe this holiday season will be the most electronic of them all. The question that is putting doubt in some minds and causing the selloff is "are they discounting too deeply?" But I don't see that they are doing anything different now than last year. Though the MSN rebates really helped push merchandise last season. Perhaps it isn't this season that is the anomaly, but rather last season, when there was that $400 rebate on any purchase if you signed a contract with Microsoft Network. . . [though many found an early loophole, leaving MSFT to pay the difference]. . . in my opinion, we saw the lows on both companies on the 6th.

Best wishes to you, Paullie. . . your final statement bears repeating. . .

When the money is gone and our jobs are over - and for most of us, it will be gone some day:) - our family and friends will be all we have left!

Thanks,

Rande Is

Hi Pauline... I understand your problem... I'm not an expert... but are you going to have any Financial stocks in there anywhere?

I found that when a bunch of my Tech stocks were tumbling, my WM held up and advanced to help soothe the blow; a nice 100+% return.

Your 14% doesn't sound too bad to me... Mine was more than that... I'm just hanging in there... It will end soon and we can feel better again... I hope! <g>

Happy Holidays!

Joe
