mepci - congratulations on buying a bus. I am a tax lawyer and while you are right that the income tax should be done away with it would not be in my self-interest to do that. Sure it stinks and we now spend as much in economic terms to collect and manage the corporate income tax as it takes in - so it is a big exercise in futility - but that is economics and fortunately the great unwashed masses do not understand economics so the politicians will easily maintain it and keep me in shekels.

mepci-Thanks-What is your opinion on the persistent and ongoing violations of IRS Rule 501-3C-"tax free entities may not use tax sheltered funds for political or personal purposes"--Jessie Jackson,some flagrant evangelists-will it ever be respected or should we all just declare we are "tax exempt"?
