I don't see the bearishness as you do. Only from select investors. It seems to me that virtually every board on SI has one or two guru's predicting the bottom. Everyone in my family tells me that NOW is the time to buy. These are people who's investing knowledge goes no further than what some guy at work passed on to them. IMO, you are in the majority. We all know what happens to the majority on Wall Street.

Just trying to throw out a different perspective.

In the depths of despair many forget how forward looking the market is. It's a leading (not a coincident) indicator. The market will turn long before the economy.
