I don't think the Salem Witch trial comment is fair from Cobalt, but I definitely don't want him on the SC. One reason, abortion.

As a Mormon, he believes deeply that it is wrong. His vote on the matter will be certain. He will be against it.

His appointment would strike fear into all those who worry that Roe v. Wade will be overturned. Abortion would become the number one issue in 2004 and it would seal W's fate, IMO.

Please no Hatch. I admire him in many ways, but not in black robes.
