The doors on our gym were at the end of the court. I was I think a sophomore in a JV game. I stole the ball and took off down court cruising for an easy 2. Our neighbor was just coming in the door and his 3 yo saw me coming at him, and he ran out on the floor with his arms spread wide for a hug. I didn't have any choice but to forget the ball and grab him or he would have been trampled! We all laughed so hard that no one even knew who should get the ball or anything. I think that was the greatest ovation I ever received from playing basketball. I wasn't very good:(
