Geez, talk about spin. Only 60% expressed optimism about the next four years, rather than the more typical 70%? After this strange election battle, I'll take it! 80% think Bush will be average or better, with roughly half saying average, half above? His dad managed 85%, with a tilt towards "average". After all the controversy, and all of the slander of the court, the confidence poll shows the high court down by 9 points, nearly the margin of error? Not bad at all. Gee, thanks for cheering me up!
