LOL!!! Chic chic chic. I never suggested that you move markets. There is no one on this thread that moves CSCO. I merely suggested that as there were many ill informed, buy the run bulls on the top there are similar set of sell the momentum bears.... they are no more and no less informed than those that were buying at 5000. I think you alone have proved this point. Thanks for the assist.

OK, back to the 8-K. I can't believe no one is mentioning this part:

The increase in the provision for losses on minority investments reflects an increase in our reserve for potential losses related to our minority equity investment
portfolio. We continue to make minority equity investments in start-up technology companies to gain access to innovative technologies. These investments are
inherently risky as the market for the technologies or products these start-up companies have under development are typically in the early stages and may never
materialize. We routinely review our investment portfolio for possible impairment of individual investments. At the end of the first quarter of fiscal 2001, we had an
unrealized gain of approximately $3.8 billion on our total investment portfolio.

This changes everything. If CSCO is trying to hide anything, it's the gains from their investments. They made a killing when CORV and ONIS went public. They also had a $50 million investment in OCPI which converted to shares when they IPO'd. This could explain why they are climbing up in a neutral market today.
