>> Al Gore was just nominated to be President of Harvard. <<

This recalls one of the great one-liners of High WASP snobbery. Early in the 20th Cent. a Boston Brahmin with a name like Cabot or Peabody was CEO of Harvard. One day his secretary announced to a visitor "The President is in Washington meeting with Mr. Roosevelt."

MB -

DB 11:40 VICE PRESIDENT GORE ONE OF 500 NOMINATED FOR PRESIDENT OF HARVARD UNIV.

Even butterfly ballots aren't going to handle that many names. Has anybody patented the centipede ballot?

Regards, Don
