Hey, I think Bush's daughters, who are and were of voting age, had a right, as voters, to know about Bush's DUI. Furthermore, Bush avoided the DUI issue when he had to fill out state and judicial forms. When you add together his using his children as an excuse with the fact he failed to note on those forms he'd been arrested, it all adds up to a coverup. No public figure, especially a presidential candidate, should use his children as an excuse not to inform the American people about a problem in their background. And that's precisely what Bush did.

I think Bush didn't wanna talk about the DUI before the American public because he didn't wanna send media investigators down the scandal trail. It had nothing to do with protecting his children from that information.

This has nothing to do with my view on how to parent children. You call my position "typical demolib arrogance." Well, I'm calling your position blatant GOPwinger denial!
