I'm not an abortion issue guy but I don't support Ridge for defense either. He's way too "moderate" for my taste. (He was not reliably behind Reagan during the Reagan years when he was in Congress). I don't know enough about C. Whitman to make a call. And what exactly, in light of the First Amendment to the US Constitution, is wrong with the Christian Coalition voicing an opinion as to potential cabinet nominees? JLA BTW, do you have a problem with NARAL, NOW, Planned Parenthood, etc. pushing their pro abortion agenda?
