KM -- CSCO: This one sure eased some fears by breaking out its reserves this morning. The action today has been nice, with strong (though not overwhelming) volume. The semis are going nuts today! I can't see it, since the fundamentals in the semi sector are in free fall, but it would've been good trading to get in on some of those this morning. I think the strength we're seeing at this point is short-covering. I'm eager to see what the market thinks of the Fed. This is a big meeting and, while it's fairly clear to see what the market is expecting from the Fed, it isn't clear what the market has priced in. The market is extremely tentative right now, especially given the expectation of good news from the Fed.
