OT...This seems like the death of another popular investing strategy. The Fool seems to be dropping the Foolish Four. They have conluded that the results were actually a product of datamining. fool.com Well, that's what we found. When you boil it all down it spells WARNING for all of the yield-based Dow strategies. It spells STOP if you are expecting market-doubling returns and probably if you are holding any of these strategies in a taxable account. It spells CAUTION if you are using these strategies in a retirement account and expect to outperform the market. When you consider the amount of time and work which went into analyzing the FF....it is a cautionary tale to say the least. Slacker
