yep...that one day spooking didn't even do much to the Rydex ratios. were we to close here they'd be right back at the recent lows. this eagerness by the options buyers to jump right away at every rally attempt is astonishing...i just compared the roughly equivalent QQQ 70 call to the 62 put...volume in the call is almost 19,000 contracts, in the put just a few hundred. those are the options played mostly by small traders...also, in the first half hour we had a brief equity p/c spike after the market had started to rally, which i ascribe to put selling, as the spike was immediately reversed.
