I don't see a downside?

The question is: what exactly has the market priced in, as far as expectations about the Fed go? I really don't know. The bond market has been telegraphing a friendly Fed for a long time now, so it's not like a change of bias will just be coming out of the blue. The financials have definitely been pricing in a friendly Fed. The stumper is the tech sector, which has been trickling down. Are the techs just ignoring the Fed for some reason, and therefore going down when they should be going up? Or are they accounting for the Fed, and therefore going down gradually rather than plunging into the abyss? Just because the techs are going down doesn't mean that they're failing to price in the good news!

I don't know, of course -- just trying to map out the risks in advance so I can interpret what the market shows us after the Fed action. Obviously, my orientation is risk-averse, which is why I come across as kind of a grinch. LOL!
