You'd think the real culprits: joey bag-o-doughnuts, candyman, harpo, and the ferret... would be on the receiving end of the abuse... apparently they have more credibility than bears, sadly.

As soon as one of these jokers gets thrown out of a 50 story window in downtown NY, it will be time to cover the shorts and go long. -ggg-

Cowen says Yahoo may warn

--1:29 pm - By Tomi Kilgore
Yahoo (YHOO: news, msgs) trimming $1 to $31. SG Cowen analyst Scott Reamer believes it is becoming more difficult for Yahoo to escape the weak advertising environment. He spells out three likely scenarios: 1) Yahoo pre-announces fourth-quarter results, possibly this week; 2) Yahoo meets Q4 estimates but lowers 2001 estimates; and 3) Yahoo warns about a fiscal first-quarter shortfall in late March. If the company doesn't warn this week, Reamer thinks the shares will stay in a $30-$35 range; if it does, he thinks it will fall to the "low to mid $20s."
