chic - you give me too much credit.

If I had bailed from the market when I first concluded it was bonkers in '99, I'd have missed about 80% of the gains! If I had bailed when I was convinced it was bonkers (Jan 00) I'd have missed 40%.

So while I had "good sense" as you put it, I think my own self doubt played a big part. I'm glad I didn't believe myself back then.

For you ciscoites, Cisco mostly outsources their manufacturing. SLR which does a lot of Cisco business said yesterday that networking was strong.Today JBL reports which is Ciscos largest outsourcer. It will be interesting if they confirm SLRs statements about the strong growth in networking and telecom which is a strong indication of CIscos business. Hope it so.\
