HI All: just received an early Christmas present from Jack McLeod in the form of confirmation of most of the good rumours that have been circulating.

Firstly it appears that it may not be necessary to do any more perf work, the well already has indications of producing over 500 bbls per day! They will not be sure until they get back on site and do some more cleanup. He hopes that the well will be in production by mid-January.
Reading between the lines I think that they will be forced to use trucks at first until they can get a pipeline link.
(I don't care if they use 20 mule teams as long as the revenue stream starts!)

Secondly; as mentioned in the press release; the problems
at the Hartell well with one lone objector are resolved; it is only a matter of paper work. Drilling will commence as soon as a rig is available and the papers signed. Jack went on to say that he was pleasantly surprised by how effective the third party mediator was; perhaps we will have fewer regulatory problems in the future.

Thirdly; four of the leases that were to expire have been granted continuations. Again Jack seemed mostly happy that they finally agreed with the STF/BEA interpretation of the geology. The continuations are the EUB stamp of approval that the company has the expertise, finances and geological know how to bring these fields to fruition.

The office will be closed next week so we will not likely hear anymore until the New Year, a New Year with much promise.

Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy new year to all.

Keith
