Builders haven't been touched yet. They are just rolling right along. 6 months, they are all cryin' the blues. Tight times coming folks. Save some money. These rates aren't what will get the builders. It will be the lack of capital, equity, etc. People will borrow for housing at these rates. They aren't that high. But folks are seeing a diminishing in their financial positions. That nervousness keeps them from walking into the sales office of the new development down the street.
