yes, reading the FRB press release it DOES seem they have changed their outlook to easing. unfortunately, msnbc misreported it initially as no change in either rate or bias.

I think there just may be some hope - important that the market closes on strength today.

Back in November, when the market looked like it was about to recover, the FOMC had THE GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY to AT LEAST change their bias to neutral. Unfortunately they clearly lacked the foresight and this sent the nas back on its merry way down the toilet, creating a nice snowball effect. I've never had a late payment on my credit cards and I've always had a good rating. Unfortunately, I over-leveraged myself thinking this market was going to turnaround soon (and I'm sure a lot of people have done the same). So tomorrow I'm seeing my attorney on the possibility of filing for bankruptcy. Good luck to all and happy holidays. I've learned the biggest lesson of my life: money is not worth chasing. Even though there were brief moments of good times (all paper gains), I basically destroyed my life financially during the last 4 years. All that hard work and experience that I thought would pay off in the end has gone down the tubes.

Oh well... c'est la vie!!
