Nobody ever says it was!

This is an art, not a science. There are lots of forces at play here. The tricky part will be if the Fed starts cutting and the dollar tanks. That will cause inflation and slow growth together. Yikes, talk about bad for the market.

And remember, lower interest rates don't assure a growing economy. There's the old "pushing on a string" problem because sometimes the lower interest rates actually depress spending by taking income out of the hands of people that spend their CD and T-Bill income.

Don't be too hard on AG, he's done a good job.
